De-worming Exercise: 60,000 Pupils To Partake In Lagos State

The wife of the Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode has flagged off a de-worming exercise for children in all  the state's primary schools.

It was estimated that about 60,000 pupils will be reached during the exercise which is aimed to  assist in the healthy development and welfare of children in the state.

At the ceremony organized by the State’ Ministry of Youth and Social Development, she told parents to encourage hand-washing among their children and urged teachers to maintain a clean and healthy environment so as to prevent the children from contracting worm infections.
